Whether it’s the wife and me teaming up for the baby, the technicians and sales staff at the office, or my favorite collegiate sports program - nothing works without teamwork!
Now, I’m not saying I’m the most supportive husband out there but I do wash the bottles daily and I do my share of diaper changing when I’m backed into the corner and can’t avoid it! My wife works as hard (more likely harder) than I do plus has the stress of being the food source for Blyth as well as bringing home the bacon. I clean up where I can doing dishes, laundry, floors, etc. because…let's be honest…Happy Wife = Happy Life; or better yet, I don’t get stabbed in my sleep so I can continue writing blogs.
The same goes at work. We have two fantastic technicians that can repair, problem solve, and research anything that comes in the door. We also have a service writer that has been with our company for 35+ years and has a fantastic way of explaining the repairs to our customers! Now, my background has not always been in auto repair but it has been in business and managing teams. I can’t imagine a better group of people to work with and I only hope that as we grow we can keep our dynamic strong and I can become the caliber of Auto Repair Manager to fit this team.
Lastly, we have great relationships with the team next door at Eurotech, European Auto Repair. I wish that Inmon Automotive could work on everything that comes in the parking lot but the reality is, European vehicles (Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Porsche etc.) all have very specific tools and computers to keep them running that do not work well with the Domestic and Asian vehicles we work on, and vice versa. So we work together - the wife’s BMW goes next door to Eurotech while her husband and kids bring their Toyotas and Fords to us, or however that works out. With very few exceptions, we have an agreement to work together and it has done very well for us for years and hopefully years to come.
One Last note: GO NOLES!
P.S.- Inmon Automotive is proud partners with the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International (BNI). Both of these organizations team us up with local businesses that provide qualified, excellent service to each other and our customers. If you are new to the area or in need of a service, let us know, and I bet we’ve got a few folks in one of my groups that can help you!
