So Much To Be Thankful For!
I’m not sure about you, but I blinked and it’s now NOVEMBER! I feel like this year is speeding by faster than I can follow and I’m truly thankful for it! Blyth had a fantastic Halloween and even won a costume contest on Facebook for being Ace Ventura, pet detective. Thank all of you that voted for her! I can’t believe how much personality she has, (along with the attitude) and good looks. (I hear she looks like her daddy...haha!)
We are having lots of fun as she is growing and teaching us how to adapt and think on our toes. We are so thankful that she is a happy, healthy toddler and lots of fun to be around. I strongly suggest you YouTube “baby shark” and listen to it on repeat for hours!...So with that we wanted to do some thanking!
A Great big THANK YOU to the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Partners who voted us as Business Champion of the Month! We are super excited to have been awarded, and you need to check out our billboard on US 1 south of Rosa L. Jones. If you see it, be sure to let us know by posting on Facebook that you saw it. We are truly blessed to have customers and friends that would vote for us!
Next, we really out did ourselves with the Brakes for Breasts this year! Last year we donated $850 and this year we are getting close to beating our $1000 goal. A great big THANK YOU to all of our customers that came in and received free brake pads or shoes. Also a big thank you to my fabulous mother-In-law, Terry Inmon, who sponsored a jewelry show with Ellen Conderman and Premier Designs Jewelry and raised $100 for Brakes for Breasts! We can make an impact on anything especially when we come together...thank you so much!
Last, but not least, I want to give out a THANK YOU to the friends, family and business partners that helped us raise over a THOUSAND pounds of non-perishable items to donate to local families through the Sharing Center of Central Brevard! This food drive really opened our eyes to the needs of local food banks. We learned that the Sharing Center of Brevard feeds 30 families daily, all year round. Please, as we come into the holiday seasons, be thankful for all you have and try and think about others that don’t have as much. We truly are blessed and thankful for all this community has done with us.
Please keep your hearts open as we finish the year with Toys for Tots and consider giving back to our community whenever you can. Not all of us have the time to pick up trash or serve in a food kitchen, but most of us can help donate in some way. Either way, we THANK YOU for trusting us since 1959 with your vehicles and being our neighbors.
Until next time!
