I’m not sure about you, but every once in a while I like to stop and say a quick prayer, and I’m just thankful that we live in this great country!
Yes, 4th of July always plays on that and I’m sure we both see more American flags and red, white and blue outfits this time of year than most, but we really do have it pretty good especially when compared to other areas in the world.
Now, I’m not gonna get political, and I honestly have an equal opportunity distaste for most politicians but that doesn’t mean I don't cherish the fact that we have so many freedoms and a means to openly discuss our views with others.
Every time I take my family out and the worst thing I have to worry about is the heat and mosquitoes, it only strengthens my view that we live in the best country on earth and I hope you and I both will strive to continue to better her!
So, as we continue to celebrate our country's birthday month, I ask you to celebrate our differences with each other and protect each other from those that don’t! Ours is the greatest country in the world because we come together as one, more times than not. If you disagree, that’s fine. We can still be friends, but I challenge you to look at the pictures and hear the stories of how we come together when disaster strikes. How men and women from all backgrounds set aside their differences and take care of each other.
So, until next time… God Bless America!
